Lea Lockwood, Ph.D., LICSW is trained as a school psychologist, as well as a social worker who has received additional training to become licensed psychologist. She also has a certificate of Neuropsychology from Fielding University. Dr. Lockwood has twenty years of experience in the field of psychology and social work.
Dr. Lockwood can evaluate for learning disabilities, provide functional behavioral analyses, and screen for social and emotional functioning (including, but not limited to: anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) , Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), and depression. Testing can also assess for dementia, memory functioning and executive dysfunction.
She is also a certified yoga instructor who enjoys teaching how to comfortably move to the next level of physical and spiritual personal growth. She has worked in both traditional and alternative school settings as well as outpatient facilities and has taught social skills in individual and group formats with children, teens and adults.
She is available to consult on planning for special education services, accommodations, or response to intervention strategies. She can also provide counseling for individuals, families, and parenting.
