The Rhode Island Blood Center is returning to South County Commons this September for another community blood

drive — and this time, our friends at Playa Bowls are joining the effort!
On Thursday, September 17 from 1–5 PM, the Rhode Island Blood Center Bloodmobile will be at South CountyCommons, giving visitors another opportunity to roll up their sleeves and help patients in need.
And there’s a little something waiting for donors afterward: everyone who donates will receive a free Playa Bowl or smoothie!
Give Blood. Help Save Lives.
Blood donations are needed every day to help patients undergoing surgeries, cancer treatments, emergency care and other lifesaving medical procedures.
After a successful Rhode Island Blood Center drive at the Commons in August, we’re excited to welcome the Bloodmobile back and continue giving our South County community an easy way to make a difference close to home.
This month’s drive is being held in partnership with Playa Bowls, located at 36 South County Commons Way, which will be treating donors to their choice of a free bowl or smoothie after donating.
Appointments & Walk-Ins Welcome
Appointments are encouraged and can be made through the Rhode Island Blood Center using Sponsor Code RR08458.
Walk-ins are also welcome, so even if you don’t make an appointment ahead of time, you can still stop by and donate if availability permits.
