Merry Moments: Breakfast with Santa Brings Joy to All

South County Commons Hosts Another Joyful Breakfast with Santa Benefitting Toys for Tots

South Kingstown, RI – South County Commons was alive with holiday cheer on Saturday, December 7, 2024, as families gathered for the much-loved Breakfast with Santa event, part of the annual Merry, Merry Christmas celebration. The festive event, held at The Village at South County Commons, was a heartwarming way to kick off the holiday season while supporting a wonderful cause: Toys for Tots.

The day began bright and early at 8 AM with a delicious pancake breakfast at Applebee’s, where attendees were treated to not only great food but also live music, caroling, prizes, and, of course, a chance to meet Santa himself. Guests showed incredible generosity, bringing new, unwrapped toys and monetary donations to ensure every child in the community experiences the magic of Christmas.

Santa’s arrival was a showstopper as he made his way down Main Street on a fire truck, spreading smiles and excitement to children of all ages. Once at the Commons, families explored the fire truck up close and participated in a host of other festive activities.

The fun didn’t stop there. The Jesse Liam Band filled the air with live holiday music while kids delighted in face painting, balloon twisting, a caricature artist and a photo booth. A highlight of the day was the famous raffle, offering families a chance to win exciting prizes.

The holiday festivities wrapped up at All South County Luxury Cinemas with a noon showing of The Polar Express. With two simultaneous screenings, families enjoyed this seasonal classic!

The Village at South County Commons is proud to host such a cherished community event, celebrating the holiday season while giving back. Plans are already underway for next year’s celebration, with exciting enhancements in the works. Stay tuned for updates and mark your calendars to join the fun again in 2025!

Thank you to all who attended and supported this year’s event. Together, we’ve made the season brighter for so many families. Happy Holidays!
