What a summer it’s been at The Village at South County Commons! We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for another unforgettable season of community fun, live entertainment, and family gatherings.
Although Mother Nature didn’t always cooperate this year—with a few Thursday night rainouts—we still enjoyed plenty of great music and memorable evenings during our Summer Concert Series. We were thrilled to welcome The Complaints to our outdoor stage for the first time, and to have the always-popular Jesse Liam Band return to entertain the crowd once again. We loved seeing families spread out across the green with lawn chairs and picnic blankets, kids lining up for face painting and balloon twisting, and our community coming together to celebrate summer at the Commons.
This year’s spring Free Movie Night, hosted in partnership with our friends at All South County Cinemas, was another crowd favorite. It was the perfect way to bring in the season with families, friends, and neighbors enjoying the property.
Beyond our major events, our local businesses brought even more life to the Commons all summer long. From special pop-up events and sidewalk sales to outdoor dining and unique shopping experiences, there was always something new to explore. A huge thank you to all of our business owners and teams for their creativity, energy, and hard work in making this season such a success.
As we head into fall and winter, we’re already looking ahead to more great community events. Save the date for our annual Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 6! This beloved holiday tradition brings festive fun for the whole family—pancakes, Santa, music, and more. Stay tuned for additional seasonal announcements, including a free fall movie night coming soon.
